ROHACELL® has been approved by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) since 1994, and shows extremely high strength at low weight. In the event of fire, it is distinguished by low smoke formation and does not release any corrosive substance. |

The Norwegian high-speed catamaran MTB is characterized by its high speed at lower fuel consumption. This was achieved by the extensive use of ROHACELL®, consistently employed by the Umoe Mandal shipyard for constructing the main deck, superstructures and interiors.
