Whether a small mobile phone display or large rear projection screen, in any case the product will be under constant examination of the human eye. The optical quality in those applications is therefore of special importance. To fulfill those requirements, all products of the product group optoelectronics are manufactured on selected machines by specifically trained personnel. The raw materials have to meet special standards in terms of purity and quality. Surface masking film and packaging are selected to provide an optimum of protection for processing and transportation of the materials.

The product line PLEXIGLAS® superclear covers products that are ideal suited as display cover glasses due to an excellent surface quality and a very high transmittance. They also exhibit an excellent thickness distribution of just ± 5% .

PLEXIGLAS® 99561 RP is used as rear projection screen. Due to the specifically developed grey color even in a bright environment a high contrast is achieved.

EUROPLEX® film 99506 is a very thin, fully transparent polycarbonate film (thickness range: 25 µm – 100 µm) that possesses 2 highly glossy surfaces and a very low birefringence. It is possible to read out CD’s and even DVD’s through the film.
