Inspec expands P84 fibre production
Due to the worldwide success of P 84 fibres in applications like cement, waste incineration and steel production the demand for P 84 fibres has grown to an extent where Inspec Fibres had to decide to increase fibre production by app. 50% to meet the future requirements of its customers. After obtaining the official permit by the authorities construction work started in June 2006. The present bottleneck which is fibre spinning will be upgraded by one spinning column per year for the near future depending on the market demand.
From September 2006 on and additional increase of 30% spinning capacity will be available followed by another increase of 20% in 2008.
In order to be able to produce these fibre volumes at the same quality level, a new drawing equipment, new solvent tanks and intermediate tanks for the polymer solution will be installed as well.
Please note that starting July 17th fibre production will be shut down for 3 weeks until August 7th which may lead to a situation where Inspec Fibres cannot supply fibres at short term. To make sure you receive enough P 84 fibre for the periode from July 17th until end of August please contact our office well in advance.
